Title
The origin and significance of this slab is not established. It has been called a “ship’s crew marker” and a “WWII marker”.
Dr.Moore’s camp is in the adjacent area and that structure was previously a Coast Guard banks camp for crews patrolling the beach. Dr. Moore, it has been said, moved the structure after his purchase of it.
In line with the “Bull Marker”, the slab is inshore, about mid-island
