Lillie M. Bell Willis

Deeds of the Morton Davis camp on Horsepen Creek show ownership by Lillie Bell.

A 1909 deed mentions husband Hull B. Bell–tranfering land ownership in Smyrna

Another Lillie Belle–{Charles Pitts wrote about his aunt Lillie Belle who with husband David Morgan DeNoyer, built their home on the 1000 block of Front Street in Beaufort, NC. in 1923. Lillie Belle expired in 1947, Pitts added. (As We Were–Charles O. Pitts)}

Register of Deeds–Bk RL-2A–pge-001 includes a decree documenting her ownership but does not define her identity further. The Lilly Bell referred to also held several tracts in Straits, but the connection with the Beaufort Lillie Bell(e) may be a separate person–and deeds into the 70s with her name indicate the owner of the Banks property is a separate person.
