Title

For a time, Brother owned part of a camp on Shackleford with Jackie Willis, his then father-in-law.  He had helped build it near the horse pens, around the Bell’s Island area.  It was a bigger house and had “all the stuff”–pump for water, three wheelers to ride (day and night)–stayed there a lot.

Other camps he remembers were those of Belke Conway, Jack Snyder, the Hamiltons(near the “struggy pond”), and Moore.

There was another camp at the east end of Shackleford near the “Short Turn”–”David’s Camp”–but not knowing David who.
